Increasing access for clients, therapists, and the community

Our Resources

The Life Worth Living Project does not provide mental health services. Our nonprofit serves as a financial and educational resource for individuals, families, and the community.

  • Offering financial assistance to individuals and families who have been recommended for a comprehensive DBT program but are unable to afford the treatment on their own

  • Providing scholarships to providers who are interested in furthering their training in areas related to DBT and other evidence-based treatments.

  • Delivering education to the community on topics related to suicide and effective interventions for suicidal and self harming individuals.

Client Sponsorships

Individuals and families who need assistance in paying for a comprehensive DBT program are able to apply for a “sponsorship” through The Life Worth Living Project.

A sponsorship involves financial assistance with a percentage of an individual’s or family’s comprehensive DBT treatment, based on factors including their income level, family size, and commitment to the treatment.

In order to be considered for financial assistance, clients must provide evidence that they have been assessed and recommended for a comprehensive DBT program.

Therapist Scholarships

The Life Worth Living Project also offers scholarships for mental health providers who are interested in expanding their education and training in areas related to DBT or other select evidence-based treatments.

If granted a scholarship, the provider must commit to utilizing their subsidized training for a minimum of two years.

Community Outreach

Community organizations are able to request psychoeducational workshops and/or trainings through The Life Worth Living Project, on topics related to DBT, suicide and self harm awareness/prevention, etc.
