Increasing access for clients, therapists, and the community
The Life Worth Living Project does not provide mental health services. Our nonprofit serves as a financial and educational resource for individuals, families, and the community.
Client Sponsorships
Individuals and families who need assistance in paying for a comprehensive DBT program are able to apply for a “sponsorship” through The Life Worth Living Project.
A sponsorship involves financial assistance with a percentage of an individual’s or family’s comprehensive DBT treatment, based on factors including their income level, family size, and commitment to the treatment.
In order to be considered for financial assistance, clients must provide evidence that they have been assessed and recommended for a comprehensive DBT program. For a list of DBT programs in the Upstate, click here.
Therapist Scholarships
We will be accepting applications soon!
The Life Worth Living Project also offers scholarships for mental health providers who are interested in expanding their education and training in areas related to DBT or other select evidence-based treatments.
If granted a scholarship, the provider must commit to utilizing their subsidized training for a minimum of two years.
Community Outreach
The Life Worth Living Project is committed to engaging with the community to enhance awareness and education about certain areas of mental health. Our organization has access to professionals who present on topics such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (for all age groups), suicide and self-harm awareness/prevention, parent education for families with teens and/or children struggling with mental health issues, and others.
Community organizations, groups, and faith communities in the SC Upstate may request psychoeducational workshops, trainings and/or informal informational gatherings by emailing us at info@tlwlp.org to discuss their need.
